That’s quick enough to out-sprint the latest Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeyes and their best 0 to 60 sprints of around 3.5 seconds. That is, unless the Charger eats its own tires upon launch. Of course, the BMW starts at about $143,995, much more than the Hellcat Redeye’s $82,190.

Is the Audi RS 7 Sportback faster than a Hellcat?

That makes the Porsche EV 0.1 seconds slower than a fully-prepped Dodge Challenger SRT Demon on its factory drag slicks.

Still, the Taycan is well above the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat’s starting point. According to TrueCar, a 2023 Porsche Taycan Turbo starts at $154,750.

How fast is the Mercedes-AMG E63 S?

The Mercedes-AMG E63 S isn’t just fast; it’s faster than a Dodge SRT Hellcat. Cars like the Mercedes-AMG E63 S, Audi RS 7 Sportback, and BMW M5 Competition are likely some of the last twin-turbocharged V8 immolation machines of their kind.Still, fans will have to contend with the AMG car’s starting price point, namely $113,950.

The Tesla Model S Plaid is faster than a Hellcat. However, it’s not alone

The Tesla Model S Plaid is more than fast; it’s explosive (and no, that’s not an EV joke). Tesla says the Plaid can hit 60 mph in 1.9 seconds, although Car and Driver managed 2.1 on their best attempts. To accomplish that near science-fiction speed, the Plaid packs a tri-motor AWD setup with 1,020 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque.

However, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S and $108,490 Tesla Model S Plaid aren’t the only EVs faster than a Hellcat. Plenty of EV sedans like the Lucid Air Dream Edition and Audi e-tron GT will easily out-sprint the hellacious Dodge.
