How, and why do we still have DSA centric interviews, when the whole tech scenario of the world is changing? Why can we not have more of :1. Scenario related Low level architectural and design Problems.2. Performance and quality enhancement problems.3. Real time knowledge around Technology adaptation and growth mindset4. Open internet Questions to test adaptability to an unknown technology?#leetcode #dsa #interview #tech #hiring

How are you preparing for your #campusplacements? Are you just grinding #Leetcode for your tech Interview? If YES! Then you are definitely doing it the wrong way!Fact: A study by Triplebyte found that Leetcode-style questions are not the best predictor of job performance. Real-world software development requires a broader skill set.GitHubโ€™s 2020 State of the Octoverse report revealed that employers value project contributions more than competitive coding experience. A way out here would be to build real-world projects to showcase your abilities. Develop curiosity beyond coursework. Research involvement correlates with higher hireability. Companies appreciate candidates who explore beyond the classroom. Here's what you can do:๐ŸŒŸ Balance algorithm practice with other essential skills.Project-Based Learnings.๐ŸŒŸ Contribute to research projects or write technical blog posts.Study System and Low Level Design and Design patterns Suitable for your Area of work.๐ŸŒŸ Focus on OS, Networking and Microservices๐ŸŒŸ If possible, groom yourself. Check the way you talk, the way you maintain eye contact and the way of shake hands. These correlate directly to a candidate's confidence on themselves.Remember, technical interviews are about more than just solving algorithms. Demonstrating practical skills, curiosity, and a solid understanding of software design will significantly enhance your hire-ability in the industry! #tech #techinterviews #placement #engineering

In one of the many hilarious cases of LLM hallucination - Gemini suggests users eat rocks! Here's why this happened ๐Ÿ‘‰ Gemini, ChatGPT and other LLM tend to hallucinate and provide factually incorrect information majorly because of the following reasons. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ Training Data: LLMs learn from vast datasets, which can containfalse statementsandopinions, leading to inaccuracies.๐Ÿ˜ฅ Lack of Memorization: LLMs donโ€™t memorize everything, resulting in plausible but incorrect responses.๐Ÿ˜ฅ Data Errors: Errors or biases in training data propagate to LLMs, causing them to generate false answers.๐Ÿ˜ฅ Outdated Training Data: LLMs may lack access to the latest information, leading to outdated responses.๐Ÿ˜ฅ Anthropomorphism: Users perceive LLMs as human-like, trusting their answers even when they lack factual basis. ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ“š#tech #llm #ai #chatgpt

Whenever I tried studying about trees in DSA, I'd often wonder why we are being made to practice odd algorithms which we probably may never use during our engineering stint. So, I decided to read up a bit! Here are a few Real-world scenarios where trees are extensively being used.โ„น Serialization and Deserialization of Trees:When we need to store or transmit tree-like data (e.g., JSON, XML), serialization and deserialization are essential.Tree traversal helps convert a tree structure into a format that can be saved or transmitted (serialization) and vice versa (deserialization). It helps Efficiently represent hierarchical data in a compact format for storage or communication.โ„น Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) Traversal: Compilers and interpreters use ASTs to represent program code. Traversing the AST allows analyzing and transforming code during compilation or interpretation. This Enables efficient code analysis, optimization, and transformation.โ„น Database Indexing: In multi-dimensional databases, tree structures (such as B-trees) are used for indexing. Traversing these trees allows efficient data retrieval based on keys or ranges. Hence faster search and retrieval operations in databases.โ„น Maintaining Order Statistics: Tree traversal can help maintain order statistics (e.g., rank, median) in data structures like binary search trees (BSTs).Efficiently find the kth smallest or largest element in a dataset. Almost any tree traversal algorithm will give an amazing Time complexity of O(log n) and worst O(n).โ„น Data Compression in Image Processing: Huffman coding, a type of tree-based compression, uses tree traversal to create optimal prefix codes for encoding data (e.g., image pixels).#dsa #interview #leetcode
