Are Too Hot to Handle's Bri and Demari still together? (2024)

Too Hot to Handle season 6 episodes 1-4 spoilers follow.

Too Hot to Handle's fresh new format has caused more than a stir in paradise for our sex-crazed contestants and no one has been more impacted than Bri.

Bad Lana antics have landed Bri in less-than-desirable situations more than once, first when she was banished from retreat and again when her love match, Demari, was paired with the flirtatious new member Valentina.

Demari's connection with Bri was tested when Bad Lana arranged a romantic date for Demari and Valentina. Unfortunately for Bri, Demari could not resist Valentina's advances and went in for an expensive kiss (£6,000 from the prize pot to be exact).

Bri made it clear to camera that if Demari was tempted she would not be taking him back, but will he come clean to her about his lip-locking actions? And if he does, will Bri stick to her unforgiving guns or is there a chance she will be able to look past his transgressions and give Demari another chance?

Here's everything we know about Bri and Demari's relationship.

Bri wasted no time making her attraction to Demari crystal clear. She was in the retreat for mere seconds before she told him in front of the group:

"I'd love a drink and I'd love you," before pulling him aside for a secluded chat where she let Demari know he was her type.

However, this wouldn't be Too Hot to Handle if there weren't a little smattering of rule-breaking from the jump, and while Bri had eyes for Demari, she couldn't help but explore things with Chris. Her teasing led to her kissing both men (each unknown to the other) which landed her in the banishment quarters when the truth was revealed.

There, she had time to think about her actions and made the decision that Demari was who she wanted to be with. Once free, Bri set about winning Demari back and it worked until Valentina arrived.

Up until the point of Valentina's arrival, Bri and Demari had fallen into a nice steady rhythm with one another. So much so that when Demari was told Valentina had picked him out of the crop of men to go on a date with, he assured Bri that she had nothing to worry about.

However, when the one hour sand-timer ran out on their time together, Demari opted to extend the date with Valentina for a further half-hour and it was during the latter half of the date that they kissed.

To add insult to injury, Bri had been sent to the banishment quarters (again) for the duration of that date and had to stay there until it was complete.

Lana then offered Demari a choice: leave Bri in banishment for another 12 hours so that he could spend more time with Valentina or end Bri's suffering there and then. Though he opted to have Bri released, he hesitated and that hesitation was noted by Lana, who passed it on to a not-so-pleased Bri.

At the end of the episode the two came together to discuss the details of his date with Valentina and a nervous Demari was left teetering on the edge of the truth before the end credits rolled. So will he actually confess to being conflicted and kissing Valentina or will he lie in order to preserve his connection with Bri?

Well, that all depends on whether or not Demari has the guts to be honest and how Bri takes this blow.

Thankfully we can glean some information from the episode five preview, which makes it clear that Bri does indeed know about Demari's kiss with Valentina.

"He called your kiss frivolous spending," a furious Bri shot at Valentina in the clip. However the newbie looked anything but shaken by Bri's harsh words. Instead she shot back saying: "He liked me enough to leave you?"

Whether or not Demari was the one to tell Bri the truth is unclear but it certainly seems the two have parted ways, which tracks.

At the start of the series Bri admitted to needing Lana's help to trust men and this situation certainly won't help towards that. Additionally Bri also said:

"Demari can kiss me goodbye, but not on the lips," but whether Demari is ready to let her go is another thing. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
