Retrace the beginnings of Piaggio’s history in Pontedera, which began one hundred years ago 1924. The guide will tell you how Enzo Ferrari became interested in the world of engines and mechanical engineering. That is, when the then 21-year-old climbed aboard a CMN (Costruzioni Meccaniche Nazionali) to race the Parma-Poggio di Berceto.

The former San Rossore Presidential Estate is part of the larger Migliarino – San Rossore – Massaciuccoli Regional Park. It is an incredible green lung just a stone’s throw from Piazza dei Miracoli, where fallow deer, wild boar and other animals live free inside the Estate. We will walk towards the Paduletto wetland to discover the Park and its environments, returning towards the super-photographed viale del Gombo.

Its Tower, called Brunelleschi’s Tower, built together with the fortifications by the famous Florentine architect himself, stands out on the small hill in the plain of the municipal territory.
