An Amber Alert has been issued for a Columbus, Ohio, 5-year-old boy.According to officials, Darnell Taylor was taken from his home by his foster mother, 48-year-old Pammy Maye, around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning."We believe that this child is in danger. So, we are asking the public's help. If you have information, to contact us," Columbus Police Chief Elain Bryant said.Police said that Maye's husband called 911 and told a dispatcher that his wife woke him up and made statements that made him believe their foster child had been hurt or was in danger.Radio traffic between a dispatcher and police was a little more specific."We had a guy call in, said his wife just killed her foster child, Darnell Taylor," a dispatcher said. "Caller said she woke him up and said, 'He is gone. I killed him.'"WLWT wants to stress that while police said Darnell may have been hurt, they have not gone as far as saying he may have been killed. Taylor is described as having black hair and brown eyes. Maye is reported to have last been seen wearing a green floral nightgown with pink shoes. Taylor may be wearing Spider-Man pajamas and white boots. Detectives spent the day at the family's home in Columbus. They could be seen carrying evidence bags from the house."We're also using K9s to assist in the search of the area, and we are working with federal and state partners to conduct a search and locate Pammy Maye and Darnell Taylor," Smith Weir, deputy police chief for the city of Columbus, said.Anyone with information on Darnell and Maye's whereabouts is asked to call Columbus police at 614-645-4555 or use their tip line at 614-645-2228.

Detectives needs your help locating missing 5-year old Darnell Taylor. He was last seen with his 48-year old foster mother, Pammy Maye. Mrs. Maye was last seen driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee.
