away Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Baystate Medical Center. Born January 3, 1953 in Springfield, MA; he is the son of Ann (Wojpowicz) and the late John P. Molta. John was a 1971 graduate of Agawam High School. Ile was the founder, owner, and principal broker for John G.

Molta Real Estate Company in Agawam for over 10 years. lIe also worked with Cityside Management in New Hampshire while operating his own business, and was the broad listing broker for HUD in Massachusetts. Before venturing on his own, he was employed with the Pioneer Group in West Springfield. John married Sherry S. Davis on February 14, 1998.

When he wasn't working, his passions were college football, the Oakland Raiders, playing golf, jogging, and spending time with his wife, Sherry. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sherry of Agawam; his children John N. and Anna Molta both of West Springfield; and granddaughter Maria. He also leaves his brothers Daniel and Kenneth Molta; sister, Gloria Anderson; his mother Ann Molta; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, business associates, and friends. He was predeceased by his father John P.

He retired from the former Uniroyal Plant in Chicopee, MA as an industrial Engineering Manager. Ile also retired from Kanzaki in Ware, MA as an Engineering Manager. Ile was a member of the Pacific Lodge of Masons of Amherst. lIe also belonged to American Legion of Amherst. He served four years in World War II in the Army Air Force.

Ie spent two years in the China, Burma, and India War (CBI) as a Corporal. He loved traveling with his wife Catherine. Ile loved playing cribbage, cards, and going to the casinos. He was predeceased by his wife Marion Green, who died in 1988. He leaves his wife, Catherine (Chirgwin) Fleming and a stepson Mark Fleming of Minnesota.
