Steve Brusatte is reading the script for the next jurassic World film right now. So it appears that things are moving fast if the paleo advisor is now looking at the script.

Keep in mind, she's said to be a fan of the series and this also hasn't been the first time she's been rumored to be in consideration. She originally was back in 2002/2003 for JP4 before the Sayles Script dropped and the franchise entered the dead period from 2005 onward.

Hmmm okay. so I could see it then if they were interested in her before way back in the dead period. I figure I will wait for confirmation, but I do figure she's a good pick if thats who they go with. Im not blind to the fact they are likely looking for a big name.

Treating it as an unconfirmed rumor is one of the best things to do with little reports like this. You won't know until the studio is ready to make such an announcement.

They are not filming in Hawaii, so I guess we won't get anything sequelish. Malta and Thailand seems like continuation of JW.

Plenty of jungles in Thailand so we might get something different in terms of "island action" maybe?

Southeast Asia has aesthetically different jungle than Hawaii and Central America, so it'd help the film stand out visually amongst the others.

I’ve always wanted to see an Asian Jurassic Park island, so fingers crossed.
