Someone in Texas won the Friday, Oct. 6, Mega Millions jackpot for $360 million. And no one claimed the $114 million jackpot on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Which meant another jackpot rollover and a $137 million jackpot for the drawing on Friday, Oct. 27.
The winning numbers for the drawing on Friday, October 27 were 11-32-43-57-70 and the Mega Ball was 6. Megaplier was 4x. There was another rollover and with that Tuesday's jackpot rises to $159 million, and a cash option of $69. 4 million.
While no one chose Friday's jackpot numbers, there were several big winners. Two tickets (one from Michigan and the other from New Jersey) matched 5 for $1 million prizes. Two others have a bigger, $4 million haul, for them after matching 5 with the Megaplier. Those tickets were purchased in Georgia and Texas.
In case you're wondering, thewinning numbers for the drawingon Tuesday, Oct. 24 were 16-20-30-54-59 and the Mega Ball was 7. Megaplier was 3x.
There was one big win on Tuesday, Oct. 10, when a ticket purchased in Ohio matched 5 for a $1 million prize.
In other recent lottery news, the Powerball jackpot has dropped back down into the millions after one ticket sold in California matched five numbers plus the Powerball in the Wednesday, Oct. 11, drawing, winning an almost $2 billion jackpot. The next chance to play Powerball is 11 p.m. ET Saturday, Oct. 28, though ticket sales stop an hour before the drawing.
And that wasn't the only Powerball prize won during the Oct. 11 drawing. Two tickets from Florida won $1 million each. They were purchased from Sunshine Supermarket, 50 Wilson Blvd. South, Suite 1, Naples, and Publix, 12500 W. Sunrise Blvd., Sunrise.
